A rare tirage à part of a laudatory essay by Roger Marx, which first appeared in 1893 in L'Artiste. It later featured in Marx's Maîtres d'hier et d'aujourd'hui published in 1914. The essay was originally written as a speech in honour of Huysmans' receipt of the Legion d'Honneur. This edition was produced in a very limited run of 37 copies.
