An essay on Huysmans’ numerous occult and literary connections with the French city of Lyon. It was published as part of the Albums du Crocodile series, in May-June 1958, but Guillemain also published it as a tiré à part in a very limited number of copies: 59 (one for each year of Huysmans' life). There is no difference in the text of the two editions, but the tiré à part has a different monotone cover and title page, is printed on superior quality paper and has a justification page on the inside cover.

This copy includes a letter from Guillemain explaining the publication history of his study.
