Despite its solid position in the canon of biographical works about Huysmans, this is actually a highly suspect memoir. Although Harry obviously did know Huysmans during the latter part of his life, she greatly exaggerated her intimacy with him, frequently resorting to fictitious anecdotes and even fabricating evidence to make it appear she knew Huysmans for longer than she actually did. See 'An "unpublished" letter from J.-K Huysmans to Myriam Harry' for more detailed information.

This is one of 35 numbered copies printed on pur fil Outhenin Chalandre and is signed by the author to Roger Nicolle.
